These gloves are beasts. These are by far the strongest and most durable gloves I have for metal fabrication and work. You are worth every penny. I tried so many brands and styles before coming across this one. Now I have 5 or 6 pairs. Trust me, I'm knocking live snot out of my gloves. Take them and move on. They are initially tight but after a few hours of wear they break down and become VERY comfortable. You will not be disappointed with these gloves!

After a week of welding, sanding and assembly, 5 seams came undone. 3 on fingers and one on wrist and one on palm all on one glove. This is my second pair and the results are the same. And who told Lincoln how long your thumbs are? The thumbs on both pairs of these gloves and on the other two pairs of red gloves are incredibly long. Slightly half an inch longer than my actual thumbs. But my thumbs match the other gloves perfectly. They're not terribly short.

These gloves dissipate heat well when working with metal. They're a bit small, however, which doesn't contribute to the tactile feedback your hands need to work with things in general. Knowing I have big hands I bought the largest pair they sold but like most gloves I have found from many other manufacturers they do not make 2XL or 3XL gloves. These are beautiful gloves. You will be the envy of your poor colleagues who wear ugly gloves. But not for long. These gloves are very poorly made. After the first day of wearing I noticed that some of the leather panels on the fingertips and palms were starting to peel off. These gave me inner shield for about five hours a day for about a week. Don't even think about using it if you are interested in high temperature welding. The "Lincoln Electric" logo on the back of the hand is the weak point of this product. It will crack and catch fire and once it starts smoking it will keep smoking every time until you buy new gloves.
