I've been looking for this coffee maker for a long time.

I first decided on a coffee maker before I bought this a few years ago. I had two non-negotiable criteria: 1) it had to make 10 cups (or more) and 2) it had to be stainless steel. Most of these coffee makers I've found have been 8 cup max and this is the only one I've ever found that was actually stainless steel. Just had my first cup of coffee from this coffee maker and it is excellent.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Fairly ok, but...

I read some bad reviews about this coffee pot before ordering it. I've read that the water is flowing straight and doesn't make good coffee. I used my coffee pot with the coffee filter in place and you should definitely use the inset lid when dripping water through the pot to make coffee. I used 8 tablespoons of coffee and half a pot of hot boiling water. It made great tasting coffee. I love the beautiful shiny stainless steel pot.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Crumpled

Not happy with this teapot

Based on my experience with my grandmother's small version of my grandmother's drip coffee pot, this large teapot does not have a deep enough compartment for coffee grounds and the top and bottom of the pot don't mate well. They need to be carefully maneuvered to be properly aligned as they should slide into each other easily, which they don't. If you don't connect them properly when brewing coffee, you can easily burn yourself! Coffee taste is marginal. So I am not satisfied with this…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • No paint required

Not for coffee lovers

I have an old aluminum 7 cup filter coffee pot that makes excellent coffee and I was hoping to repeat this experience in a safer and bigger version when I'm out . Unfortunately this is not a replacement. There are no markings for water cups, so water must be measured first. It is worth noting that hot water also drips too quickly, making the coffee weaker. A possible solution would be more smaller holes. I'm going to double some filters to slow down the flow and hopefully get a better result…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Everything ok

This type of coffee pot made the best coffee that could be made

Many years ago this type of coffee pot made the best coffee that could be made. I bought this Lindys coffee maker hoping to have the same experience but the holes are too big. The water is moving too fast! You can't make good coffee with it. I was so disappointed. Let the manufacturer fix this defect. i want it to work They're a great alternative to the plastic pods that fill up landfills and regular electric drippers that only make a mediocre cup of coffee, and if you have a gas stove you can…

Worst coffee pot ever

WORST coffee pot ever and it's expensive. A few years ago I had a coffee pot based on the same method of pouring into a filter pot on the stovetop. This jug had gauges on the side of the filter and jug to show water levels and coffee grounds. No matter how many cups I made, the coffee was perfect. Yummy every time. Not so with this expensive non-consumer coffee. Since there are no water level gauges or coffee grounds, this is anyone's guess. (Unless, of course, you take out the measuring cup…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Sad equipment
