WORST coffee pot ever and it's expensive. A few years ago I had a coffee pot based on the same method of pouring into a filter pot on the stovetop. This jug had gauges on the side of the filter and jug to show water levels and coffee grounds. No matter how many cups I made, the coffee was perfect. Yummy every time. Not so with this expensive non-consumer coffee. Since there are no water level gauges or coffee grounds, this is anyone's guess. (Unless, of course, you take out the measuring cup and spoon every time you brew coffee). The instructions that come with the kettle are ridiculous for their brevity and disorientation. I've used this pot 6 times so far. Tried different water levels. Different thickness. Different coffee beans. Each time the coffee tasted like punished water! Don't buy this coffee pot. This is a complete scam.
