Really 8mm: Power Transmission Products

I have a 3018CNC reprap machine (Sainsmart) that had too much play in the Z-axis when I attached the guide rods to the machine measured, they were three-thousandths of an inch smaller. These Feyrinx staves arrived in two days, were the right size, and fixed my installation issue.

Decent quality: Linear Motion Products

Good quality shaft. They are simply cut to length and the ends ground, not turned. Also the length is slightly different (I think +/- 2mm). One star is deducted because of these minor flaws. However, in general they are good and will work well for the vast majority of uses.

General Store: Power Transmission Products

Ordered 4 12mm for Z axis on Corexy assembly. Having a variety of options for pre-cut rods makes planning easier as it's a one stop shop for all the linear rods I need. For the Y-axis ordered 2 x 10mm more linear bearings slide smoothly without the rods sticking or slapping.
