Complete garbage. This thing throws like a Persian. The bristles are too soft to spread on anything thicker than tap water, and they aren't evenly distributed, meaning that once they get close to the glue, they stick together into a ring with a hole in the middle. Almost ruined a delicate and rather expensive project by picking out the bristles stuck to the paper. After use and cleaning, the bristles fray, break and bend. I am new to book restoration and was looking for tools from Revane. I found this brush and only this brush. I'm surprised there aren't more options or brushes for this purpose. I was a little concerned about the brush losing bristles based on some reviews. I like the brush. It's not heavy or clunky, I can easily hold it with my small hands.
