My old router broke, I had to buy a new one. I looked for routers at local stores and the prices were high. Then I found this router at a great price. The signal is very strong, it can set 5 and 2.4 gigahertz networks, it allows you to connect different devices between two different bands. I also use a WiFi extender for my son's room and it works great with a router too. Based on my experience with the product, the seller and the price, I highly recommend this seller.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great unit! for computers and accessories

I finally bought this after buying an extension cord for my basement but the cable modem was too far away. I had to run a cable and connect a router, but now we have full internet coverage in the basement, even to the street. I had a few hiccups during setup and ended up having to call their support team, but they were very helpful and even called back afterwards to make sure there weren't any issues. Great router, especially for the price. I'm even considering replacing the standard cable…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Approximately

good router - computers and supplies

Basic basic router - hooked up to a cable modem - great for a remote and occasional cabin - but definitely great for finally having internet and wireless access. Cellphone/smartphone capability was almost non-existent, but now I can call whenever I want and I don't have to look for a "secret place" that can sometimes pick up a signal, only when the moon and stars align. :-) This is at least my third Linksys model and I've been happy with all of them so far.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • unreliable

DOES NOT WORK with Bonjour printers

It took 3 days for this POS to work with Brother wireless laser printer. Printer and computer work great with Linksys 10 year old 2.4GHz router. I thought I would "update" here, but now I'm back on my old Linksys and giving it back to Revain. Will look to Netgear or other brands for future needs.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • boring packaging

Quality gone

I used to like Linksys routers as I had a WRT1200AC and it worked flawlessly for years. I wanted to upgrade to a newer router and found this one and decided to give it a try. He worked the entire two weeks before dying entirely. Then their technical support is far more than helpful. When people in my line of work ask about brands of routers, I usually tell them to stay away from that brand as the quality seems to have declined over the years.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Updates

good router at Networking Products

A simple, basic router that plugs into a cable modem, great for a distant and occasional cab, but certainly great for finally having internet and wireless access there. Cellphone/smartphone capability was almost non-existent, but now I can call whenever I want and I don't have to look for a "secret place" that can sometimes pick up a signal, only when the moon and stars align. :-) This is at least my third Linksys model and I've been happy with all of them so far.

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Appearance

Accelerate up to 1.2Gbps when you don't want to use the internet.

I bought this to add a hotspot to my basement. I had a workstation connected to my gateway via ethernet, but needed to add better Wi-Fi while keeping wired latency low for my workstation. Much to my surprise, this router only has fast Ethernet ports (100MB). INCLUDED WAN PORT!? You can transfer 1.2GB from one wireless device to another (why), but this thing is limited to 95MB on the internet. This has to come back, not sure why they built an 802.11ac wireless router with "speeds up to 1.2Gbps"…

Pros
  • nice stuff
Cons
  • not as good as it says
