Keeps disconnecting from internet overnight

I'm disappointed with these routers. I bought 2 of these to support each other. I use 1 as my main router. The second is configured as a wireless bridge and can also be used as a backup for the main router in case the main router fails. To make the backup router primary, all I have to do is restore the backup configuration file from the primary router to the secondary router. I have about 50 devices in my house that I need to set up redundantly, so a second router of the exact same model would…

Worth buying! for router

Works great, replaces my old E900 and the thing barely gets warm, I'm surprised. The 5GHz signal is used by most of my devices and I get full speed from around the house. Easy to set up and definitely worth buying. Small scratches on the surface but the black color hides them well so I don't mind.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best

It works and that's it.

I have tried many routers over the years. When the last one died, I got this one. Easy to install and durable enough for most homes. (It's a big old house and this thing is in a loft conversion on the 3rd floor - don't ask. The only weak signal is way back in the kitchen. You'd have to be in violation of FCC rules to get that far ..) The router has been activated since I set it up. I turn it off and on again to restart it from time to time if something goes wrong (this applies to any router of…

Warmly recommend the best network products

So far I like it. It's quite big. More than I expected. So make sure you have room to accommodate this bad boy. After installation I noticed a nice difference in our network. I have a family of 4 and the Xbox One is used constantly in the main living room for entertainment and TV. I have two boys who use their tablets and/or Xbox 360 all the time. I have a 60GB connection to Comcast, but I've never experienced Netflix buffering or our local file share stuttering. The antennas are huge and look…

Shape issues

(after 90 days), downgrade to 1 star: Immediately after the 90-day warranty expired, the router behaved strangely: - I was traveling and couldn't connect using the Linksys Smart Wi- Fi app connected to my security cameras or router and had to restart them after coming back a week later with no access to my security cameras which was very frustrating. - Some devices randomly lose internet connection (connected over Wi-Fi) and I need to restart the router for it to connect my devices. My laptop…

Pros
  • Rugged build
Cons
  • No auto-update

Read and then buy, or just buy. That's great.

My life has changed forever. Everything I thought I knew about the world collapsed. Thank you oh great Linksys router for opening my eyes to all the possibilities. With this single router I now have two different WiFi networks, one at 2.4GHz and the other at 5GHz. I have my Roku devices connected to the 2.4GHz network and all my other devices are connected to the 5GHz network. Now all devices can reach fun speeds at the same time. No buffering, pixelation or frustration. My god, this is so much

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Try the best of someone else at Routers

The router failed to deliver the speed I paid for from day one. Tech support said it was a cable company. I make a cable call, they run a test, they say everything on their site and redirect me back to Linksys. This went on for quite a while. Finally, I pay the cable company to come out and check the line at the tower, modem, and router. Everything was correct except when they checked from the router. I called Linksys back after the cable went missing with new evidence, finally they admitted…
