Terrible quality, disappointed with the purchase.

I hate Lynksys and will never buy anything from this company again. I bought a cheap Asus RT-N12HP - set it up in five minutes, everything flies, Destiny works, consoles are in order. Pros below: Loud brand, like it's Cisco. So - this is not Cisco, this is Linksys. Cons below: 1. Did not work with L2TP, I had to install an alternative firmware from the "wi-fi world". 2. When I changed the provider from Beeline to a normal one, I hardly demolished the firmware from the Wi-Fi world. 3. Ugly…

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

Basically, I liked everything. It is difficult for me to give a full opinion about the operation of the device. I rarely go anywhere. Set up via the web interface. Connection to the provider via PPoE went without problems. I don't use IPTV. Works well over LAN. There was no alternative firmware at the time of setup, now there is already one from World of Wi-Fi. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. But I had enough functionality and factory firmware. In addition to one setting (very important…

Pros
  • Manufacturing quality. Nice design. Work stability. Possibility to work in two bands at the same time. The web interface is in 2022, which is not so often the case, and unlike others I have met with a clear and not abstruse help. It is even possible to turn off the LEDs on the ports (who bothers). For those who do not want to go into the intricacies of setup, there is a convenient, simple, step-by-step setup that runs from the supplied CD. Fairly good reception area, tk. the room where it is installed is complex, it is difficult to say the exact figure. I pierced an 80 cm wall in one direction, and 4 interior walls in the other, with a radius of 10 meters, but given the number of walls, the result is not bad. The presence of a "guest" network with a pop-up window for entering a password and explanations.
Cons
  • There is no wall mount, but this is a small drawback, if desired, you can thread a string through the grate at the bottom of the router and fix it. The maximum number of users of the "guest" network is 10. Judging by the reviews on the network, there are problems with connecting to some 2022 providers due to the peculiarities of entering authentication data (it is treated by installing an alternative firmware).

Completely standard product, nothing remarkable.

First I bought a cheaper model, E1500, but since it had a weak Wi-Fi signal, I changed it to E2500 within 2 weeks. But the problem remains the same. It seems that the signal of this model should be more powerful, but in practice I had a weak signal (one stick out of five) in the room through 2 walls, and remained. Later I noticed another problem: the router greatly cuts the speed over the cable! I connected the laptop directly, the speed test showed 68/56, through the router - 38/42 at best! I…

Pros
  • Stability of work, does not hang, does not heat up (barely warm), easy to set up, good speed over Wi-Fi.
Cons
  • Strongly cuts the speed of the cable, a weak Wi-Fi signal. If not for these shortcomings, I would give 5 stars, but so far only 3.

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

Bought yesterday. Setup took 2 minutes (Mac OS). Connection diagram: ADSL (from the avant-garde) -> router -> (TV - cable; MacMini, phone, iPad, iPod and laptop (Windows) - wi-fi). The flight is great. It is a pity that there is no built-in ftp, you will have to buy an external winch, connect via lan and configure. On the other hand, there is a chance that third-party firmware will fix this small flaw.

Pros
  • Design, speed, dual bands (simultaneously), stability
Cons
  • No wall mount. Lack of USB and 1GB LAN - however, after paying about 1 you can buy a model 3200, in which all this will be.

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

Took for home. The channel is small and there are no problems with connecting to the provider, so there are no problems with connecting and "cutting off". The connection is stable. Installed in almost one click, easy to set up. Before that, there was a WRT54GL router from the same company - it worked fine for me for 2 years without a single failure and it still works. For those who do not have problems with connecting to the provider and do not want to dance with a tambourine when connecting,

Pros
  • Security Settings. Alternative firmware. Reception quality. 2 operating ranges. Ease of setup and installation. Adequate menu (including in 2022). Guest access.
Cons
  • No wall mount. It could be a little cheaper (took for 3600)

Not perfect quality, there is a small defect.

If you have Corbin or any Internet using the VPN L2TP protocol, then the router on the standard firmware will cut your speed to 10 Mbps. If you install firmware from World of WiFi, then the maximum speed will reach about 22 Mbps. I want to clarify that these are not problems related to WiFi or the provider, this is a specific problem of this router with L2TP connections - I double-checked it several times. If your Internet is not L2TP, then this router is an excellent choice for you. If L2TP…

Pros
  • - Stylish - Light - two WiFi bands (2.4 and 5 GHz) can work simultaneously - stable operation even under high load (torrent ~ 800 connections) - Wall mounting is not provided, that is, a small protrusion on the bottom, with which you can quite easily hang this router on the cogs.
Cons
  • - If you have Corbin or any L2TP connection, then the router will cut off your Internet speed. More details below.

Exactly what I needed, it's a great buy, I recommend it.

I took it from the states, with a whistle and delivery came out at 3300. In general, what I needed, with one exception - there is no wall mount. I will sell and order the E3000 - there it costs 70%, and not $ 170 like ours . On my own, due to complete amateurism, I couldn’t set it up myself - the router for ddosing and dropped the switch in the house. Otherwise, there are no questions - with the old dir-320, the speed was 1.3 mbs and the torrent filled the entire band. Now the speed is…

Pros
  • Just a normal router.
Cons
  • No wall mount.
