Lion Brand Hometown Yarn, Key Largo Tweed - 1-Pack Review

I bought this yarn and shipped it to my mother's home. She recently had surgery for cancer and I wanted to help her keep her mind and hands busy. She said that this yarn was tangled, knotted and of poor quality. I am sorry that I gave poor quality yarn to my sick mother and caused her stress by telling myself that my gift was useless.

Product description does not include meter count; However, there is a "Have I given enough" table that compares several different threads. I bought yarn according to the scheme. To my surprise, there are only 64 yards in each ball. According to the table, 10-14 hometown points equal 9-14 Wool Ease balls. According to the production description, Wool-ease is 81 yards.

This is a very inexpensive yarn which has been very useful to me as I am just starting to crochet and is well worth the money. The yarn breaks fairly easily so finding the right loop can be difficult for beginners, but that has been solved. My biggest complaint is that when I ordered 4 identical skeins, I received 2 slightly different yarns. My first order of 1 SET I received 2 skeins of this yarn. I liked it so much I bought 2 so TWO PACKS thinking I was getting 4 skeins. Well I received my order for 2 PACKS and only received 2 skeins not 4. I either received an extra skein on my first 1 pack order or I was missing 2 skeins from my 2 pack order.
