Review on Lion Brand Hometown Yarn, Key Largo Tweed - 1-Pack by Doris Tran

I bought this yarn because the photo on the website looked beautiful. I wanted to make an afghan for my cousin. When the yarn arrived I noticed loose "tweed" yarn inserts. Very cheaply made. I should have sent everything back! However, a friend said that you can wash these pills off after you're done. I worked a lot on this blanket but the end result in the first picture shows how the yarn was after work. The second picture is what it looked like after three days of removing the pilling with a clothes razor. The third photo shows what I removed with a clothes razor. It's a gallon sized ziploc bag! I can't give it away. I don't want anyone to take care of this blanket. I threw it on the back of the sofa as a reminder to NEVER start a project with questionable yarn.
