Terrible mess! on yarn

Bought a skein in green/blue (Treasure Island) and pink/orange (Tropical Punch). I was so excited to start a project with this yarn. It was beautiful and it was beautiful. It was a little prickly due to the metal thread, but that didn't bother me. I started winding the yarn into a bundle and there was a nightmarish mess in the middle of the ball! I spent hours trying to wrap one strand hoping the second one would be better, but no, everything got worse! I'm really tempted to give up as my…

Pathetic purchase!

I bought this yarn based on the simple shawl pattern shown on the Lion website and it looks very attractive. When the yarn arrived and I tried on the pattern, it was like knitting with dental floss! Also, in one motion, a large, tangled blob appeared from the center, with several knots close together. I was thinking of winding it onto my spool and mixing it with other yarn to "make something" but I'll probably just throw it away (or donate it to our yarn chicken coop). I never do this so you…

I LOVE THIS YARN! Best in Yarn

This yarn was featured in the Old Village Bridge Shawl Youtube video and I was so impressed with the drape and beauty of the finished product that I immediately ordered Treasure Island. Just finished, everything looks the same as in the video! So impressed I ordered another color to make another one.
