This yarn is TERRIBLE!

This yarn just wasn't right. I was knitting a sweater and was almost done when I ran out of yarn. I ordered more yarn to complete the sweater. It literally ripped in my hands when I tugged and wasn't good enough to add the finishing touch to my unfinished sweater, which now just sits there waiting to be unraveled.

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • damaged

False and hairy.

This yarn is nice and very light for #4 BUT the gauge is very uneven and hairy. So if, like me, you're willing to cut off rows if necessary to get it right, this yarn isn't right for the job. It often catches, so pulling stitches requires a seam ripper to cut it every 5 stitches. It's just badly packaged. I would never pay that much money for this yarn again.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Soft, stretchy and stable

I'm a bit of a yarn snob so I'm surprised at how much I liked this yarn. I needed a camel color to match the coat and Lions Brand had the best color I could find. It was very pleasant to work. Very soft and soft and I'm sure my finished scarf will wow me this winter considering how warm the fabric is. However, this yarn also has disadvantages. It is listed as worsted and is not. It leans more towards the bulky side. Reminiscent of plain Paton yarn or Knit Picks Chroma. The yarn breaks…

Pros
  • Resistant to testing
Cons
  • Fading
