🦁 Soft and Sustainable: Lion Brand Yarn 760-224 Lion Cotton Yarn in Sagebrush Review

After trying several brands of cotton yarn - Premier, Lily Sugar n Cream, Cotton-Ease - I found that this yarn, Lion Cotton, mine is darling This is a good thick and strong yarn, it won't snap or break, it's a nice color. A bit pricey in my opinion but the quality is the best. Highly recommended!

It just doesn't slip and my hands ache from making a simple hat that should have taken hours but took days as I had to stop multiple times to rest my hands! I chose between two different yarns and left the wrong yarn in the basket but I think it was my fault so I kept it and used it but I won't buy it again! I usually like most Lion Brand yarns, but this one wasn't very comfortable to work with!

I ordered 4 identical yarns. 2 came in a beautiful black color. 2 came in charcoal. I checked the label anyway. so disappointed because I crocheted a large piece before I got it that it's not light or my eyes but yarn, very disappointed. I won't be returning it because it's too cumbersome, just find a use for these 2 yarns, they shed too. I'll see what happens after washing. I hope it keeps its color. Despite my bad experience, I will give Lion Brand another chance

I have knitted at least 15 skeins of this yarn in different colors over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Some people say you can pull the yarn out of the middle of a ball, but I've never found this to be true. But the skeins are compact and neat, so unwinding the yarn from the outside is not a problem.
