Easily retractable gear replaces

Broken gear teeth can be easily replaced. It comes with a spindle. 3 screws and spare. Also found a video online, but long story short, pull it halfway out, unload the gearbox with a jack, remove the bolts and replace them with new ones.

Shaft missing?: Engines

I was very surprised to receive this (belatedly) without an input shaft. This is the second one I've ordered and I've had no problems, works great but someone really messed up with quality assurance. What to do with a gearbox without a shaft?

Pros
  • Units built before October 2013 use an 18 tooth gear
Cons
  • Nothing

To be too good to be true?

We were happy to have found this as an alternative to taking our entire setup to the store for a lot more money. Relatively easy to repair but the mechanism broke after 8 months. We camp maybe every two months so not much wear and tear. We are awaiting an answer regarding the possibility of replacement under the warranty. I will edit the review later.

Pros
  • Used to extend the continuous frame.
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Not as shown for engines

Picture shows rollers with round centers and a hex portion of the shaft just enough for the pinion. They arrived today and the rollers have hex centers and snap onto the shaft. This is absolutely one of the worst designs I have ever seen. The gear is smaller than the rollers and therefore each revolution results in less linear motion in inches than the rollers in one revolution. Since they are mounted on the same shaft, something must be slipping. My slide jumps because the rollers are trying…

  • Matching part

Replacement Bolt

Our 2105 Wildcat's main guide is stuck because the original gear has stopped turning. This was due to rust made worse by driving on salty roads during snowstorms. Next time I will pressure wash the landing gear with fresh water. Jacked up the outside of the extender about an inch to take the weight off the gear assembly, removed the two thru bolts/nuts and the bolt connecting the shaft to the second gear and it came out easily. Just make sure the hole in the pinion shaft is positioned to accept
