CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY – Road Armor is engineered to obtain maximum absorption. With its anti-shock technology, road shock and vibrations are dampened, resulting in less chucking and less strain on the trailer. ALL-AROUND PROTECTION – The patent pending design uses a single pivoting arm that is permanently engaged with the trailer axles’ leaf springs. This allows it to constantly absorb and dampen road shock from the leading or trailing spring, utilizing the trailer’s natural motion. ULTIMATE UPGRADE – Road Armor was designed to offer RVers and trailer owners a superior suspension enhancement solution that can be added as an easy aftermarket upgrade, and is also offered as an exceptional substitution for torsion axles. HIGH-GRADE HARDWARE – Included in the kit are two tandem equalizers, greaseable bronze bushings that improve wear and tear, and automotive-grade fasteners that provide exceptional corrosion protection and extend overall product life. Improved Towing: Suspension

Just installed this and only towed the trailer a short distance but on a very choppy section of the highway. The improvement was very noticeable and I can say that I'm happy with my decision to replace the old equalizer with this one. I will update this post if there is any change in how much I like the product.

What an improvement in trailer towing.

What an improvement in towing. I've read a lot of reviews saying the same thing and I thought how do you know what it's like to ride in a trailer when you're not in one? First, no judder over bumps, a smooth ride. Second, the items in the trailer weren't as shifted as they were without Road Armor's EQs. I also installed a heavy duty wet bolt shackle upgrade. It's worth it.

Well done and improved towing experience.

Mounted on 11,000lb fifth wheel. They were easy to assemble and significantly improved driving comfort when towing. I added them after installing the Moryde rubber pencil box. The rubber box for the pens was of great importance for the truck. The combination of road armor and a rubber kingpin box has transformed day and night for the better, reducing snagging and making towing a pleasure.

Easier to install than I thought

Okay, I checked out all the videos I could find about installing the new wet bolts and Road Armor aligner. Most took everything off first. I only lifted one side of the trailer and removed one wheel at a time. It seemed much safer to me that I had a tire just in case. It only needed a jack to raise the axle (on a spring U plate) I was working on and a bottle jack to raise the trailer. Equalizer and earphones installed. We tighten everything, reset the wheel and move on to the next one. I had no

Good product. Fits perfectly with the right suspenders. I have some tips below.

I've used these with MoreRyde replacement bushings and HD cleats. I have a Grand Design Imagine XLS 22MLE but they are most likely all the same. The TT comes with short braces and this item requires 3 1/8" long braces to install properly. This is due to the size of this EQ compared to a standard cast iron piece.
