High quality, take care of them properly.

very good quality lanyards. They have withstood insanely rough roads, I-80 at 70 mph with winds in excess of 50 mph, and also withstood a lot of road dirt and moisture without corrosion. Buy them, lubricate them and you will be happy.

Pros
  • nice article
Cons
  • slightly crumpled

The new ones worked fine but the front spring creaked

I was so happy to get my turnbuckles! up one of them thread! the inner thread of one of the lanyards was torn off and had to be returned. The new ones worked fine, but the springs in the front ones creak! I sprayed some WD40 in the cylinder but the van never got back on the truck.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Legacy model

Cable ties for the HappiJac camper system worked on 2015 Ford F-250

part of the HappiJac system to hold an alcove camper on my 2015 F-2015. The only problem with the new system is that it is very difficult to turn initially, especially the long handlebars. After being turned with wrenches and grease, it was unbolted to fit on a truck. Keep in mind that the short ones only have feathers and they have to be in the front. Langes do NOT have springs and are designed to stabilize.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • There are cons

I ordered the original Happy Jack /Lippert Camper Lanyards (182898) because they were stainless steel. YOU ARE NOT! The "barrel" (smooth round cross section) is stainless steel BUT the rest of the turnbuckle, hook, threaded rod, end nuts on the stock and the spring inside the barrel in the front turnbuckles are all black coated, magnetic and will therefore RUST. This company should be sued for false advertising.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No machine

Good product, questionable quality control

First off, great design. Easy to use with model specific mounts. The stainless steel body is great, the zinc threaded hooks are fine. This is my second set and I highly recommend applying a light lube or oil to the threads before using (Tri-Flow works great). It helps with adjustment and with dirt and corrosion, especially on the rear triangle. Unfortunately, on my last set, one of the threaded hooks on a rear tire was not screwed in properly. It will turn, but it's almost impossible to…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great product and great customer service

I have used these lanyards twice. They worked perfectly the first time. No problem. They're easy to put on, easy to take off, and get the job done. The second time they got through without any problems, got their work done for the weekend. When I took them off, one of the long ones didn't come off. I had to take a wrench and really twist the thing to get it off the truck. When I removed the turnbuckle, the nut ended up being too hot to touch. The threads on the threaded J hook looked fine, but…

CAN be used on frame mounted clutches such as torque superchargers.

I have frame mounted cable ties made by a welder for less than half the price, but I wanted a different type of turnbuckle system than the weird old spring cans that came with my used RV. I bought a 4 piece set here at Revain and they work great if you install them properly. In fact, there are only 2 spring-loaded and 2 damped. Spring loaded MUST go forward. Dampening kit comes at the back. DO NOT flip this over or you will either rip out your RV's anchor point or break the turnbuckle by…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some flaws
