Type of review

I had a 1 and 1/4" ABS breather tube and the adapter from the kit fit the tube perfectly as shown/described in the instructions. No need to overcomplicate it like reviewer Stephanie did with two extended tubes. If you need to relocate them, just add the coupler and tube one by one and make one taller. The kit includes the parts you need to fit a 1.25" tube etc. There are even pictures showing how to install it into a duct. She didn't follow the instructions and cut off the strips! Carefully cut

Ventilation work in building materials

Ordered 2 but only received 1. Contacted customer service and received the second one 2 days later. The RV style vent cover I replaced was identified as Cover 2 when installed. Instructions. The roof vent comes with a funnel that needs to be routed into the vent and then this assembly is placed onto the dwelling vent pipe. After doing a little research, I found an article that said the purpose of the funnel was to direct any rainwater entering the vent through the RV's vent pipe. The outside…

I think it works for Building Materials

So it took me a while to figure out how to convert this without making major design changes. I found the instructions a bit vague, but after doing some research on the original vent, I realized that the inner funnel's sole function was to collect rain and direct it down the exhaust pipe. There were 4 double prongs around the top of the old base that the instructions said should be cut off. I found they actually helped hold the new bend in place. All I had to do was cut the screw hole and make…

Before buying, measure the diameter of the ventilation pipe!

First of all, I should mention that Greg, the founder of 360 Siphon, was happy to personally help me solve my installation problems. So I have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone interested as Greg went above and beyond the level of support you would expect when buying a piece of plastic. :) In short, however, there are 3 caveats to consider before you buy 360 siphons: 1. If your vent pipes are 1¼" ID, you'll need to do some non-obvious creative plumbing; You have no choice (as

The instructions are too short and concise

I am sure this product will be excellent and will work great once installed. My rating is "less than 5 stars" and the comments are about installation and instructions. I have 3 vents and sometimes my 5th wheel smelled like sewer so I decided to do something about it. I watched numerous YouTube videos, took notes, and collected tools and installation materials. Climbing onto the roof, lugging everything in, and then turning off the old vent is a big deal for me. Before I get started, I read the…
