Nice big pan - oil drain holes

Just the thing to save you from making a big mess when dealing with your car's coolant. I think you could use it on your transmission when removing the oil pan or even changing the oil, but it's really overkill for that. Just for reference I took the drain pan I normally use for oil changes (16qt I think) which sits INSIDE the new pan.

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Available in black only

Weak sump on tools and gear

I have used this sump at a shop I worked at, the one I have doesn't look or feel strong enough like the ones i seen before, i choose to buy lisle because i used that before, but what i got is not like a $35.24 oil pan, i think lisle should do better; At my current job we ordered an ATD and it is better quality and thicker plastic.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Sundries

Takes up a lot of space

I had one a few years ago. I lent it to someone and this is the last time I see it. So happy I bought another one. I have used Lisle products throughout my 40+ year career. Revain also has great prices on Lisle products. High quality, competitive prices. It takes up a lot of floor space to minimize spills, is lightweight, easy to clean and has a spout. highlighted.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Mature model

Big enough to hide spills.

Those of you who are in the parking lot oil changing industry know how difficult it is to do it without leaving an environmental disaster in your parking lot. This very large frying pan solves the dilemma. The small footrest also provides a convenient place to place the oil plug and filter during the process. My only complaint is that pouring out old oil can be a little awkward due to the small spout at the end. I suggest buying a wide funnel.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time

Lower quality than before.

As several other reviewers have noted, these pans aren't what they used to be. They are about 2/3 thicker than when I used the same brand at the last dealer I worked at. Also, the edge is sharp, not finished like old pans. Lots of flash from the casting process. These new pans are much more flexible when taken full. Lisle has never been super high quality material, but it was better than that.

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • High Price

Good sump, best tools and gear

Very well made sump. Just like in the car dealership where I used to work. Don't let the photos fool you. The drip tray is quite wide and large. Ideal for collecting coolant, oil and other liquids from under vehicles. The wide opening ensures that liquids do not spill out of the drip pan. Low profile so it fits snugly without jacking up the car unless your car is low. More expensive than other drain pans I've seen online, but with this pan you are guaranteed a quality, store-bought pan.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Available in white only

Prevents riots, saves time.

If you are renovating yourself, you will need one of these drain pans. Whether you are draining antifreeze when changing the radiator fluid, draining hydraulic fluid from a tractor hydrostatic pump or simply changing the oil on a large vehicle or tractor, this is a very useful drain pan. This drip pan will keep your garage/driveway/shed floor from getting dirty. I warn you, once it's full, you probably won't be able to lift it. It's too heavy and the sides flex too much. BUT, the purpose ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 1 year trial version
Cons
  • Some disadvantages
