Don't risk putting in batteries!

The last time I replaced the battery in my Toyota 4Runner, the battery I removed had a built in lifting strap. Although the battery was at my chest level, I successfully removed it and used it as a core replacement. The original battery that I bought from a Toyota dealership came without a lifting strap. I was playing Billy Hell trying to get him into the battery compartment without dropping him. When I was a kid, I once put a battery in my dad's tractor and smashed the fuselage, spilling…

Don't buy, waste of money.

I bought this product and was so excited to use it, but the first time I used it I had a 2011 Ford Explorer and I removed the engine. The wiring harness goes under the wiper cover. I couldn't get the wipers to disengage to remove the plastic cover, I've tried everything from heating them with a small torch to spraying penetrating oil. After these failed attempts, my brain clicked and I remembered that I had this puller, which is why I was so excited to use it in this unfortunate situation…

Not very easy to use

A bit disappointed with this Lisle tool. The two threaded sections were very sticky which initially confused me on how to properly use this tool. down so it was impossible to slip through a battery post unless it was literally "flat" - maybe 1/8 inch thick; Who has thin battery terminals? Even after that you need 3 hands to adjust it correctly! One hand to screw up the center piece to place the tool on the battery terminal/wiper arm. A hand to screw the outside to keep it from falling out. And…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No performance

It works out. It is so easy. (Removing the wiper arm.)

I needed this tool to remove the base of a broken rear wiper arm on a 2013 Buick Enclave from the wiper motor spindle. The wiper arm spindles and bushings are tapered and designed to fit silently once the mounting nut is tightened. As a result, they can be difficult to remove, especially over time. Moisture can cause slight oxidation or corrosion between and on parts, making removal difficult. This tool applies even upward/outward pressure to the base of the wiper arm until it disengages. This…

Absolutely AMAZING battery holder, the BEST out there and MADE IN THE USA!

Simple and practical, this portable battery is the best portable battery I've ever used. This darn thing automatically adjusts to any battery size to fit ANY type of car or car battery. To attach it, simply push down to spread your arms wide enough to reach the sides of the battery and lift straight up. Gravity does the rest. To release the battery, simply insert the battery, gently press on the carrying handle and remove. No adjustments, no screws, no ratchet, no metal clips on the battery…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Vulgarity
