This is for Kia and Hyundai Oil Filter!

I had a miserable time changing the oil filter on my 2015 Kia Soul and 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport. No auto parts store has an oil filter tool that fits Kia and Hyundai oil filters (all four cylinder engines use the same filter). I finally bought this one from Revain and it's perfect! Changing the oil filter on my cars is so easy!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Does the Subaru Tokyo Roki's black filter fully intervene?

Well this one was stuck and the tool just slipped out of the flat. The only solution was to put a rag between the tool and the filter and it worked. I think the quality of the tool is ok, but it doesn't work as planned. Of course, Subaru's blue filters are a different size, so I might write an additional review if I'm using Mazda RX-8 filters (Tokyo Roki, 68mm x 14, flat).

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some issues

Lisle Oil Filter End Cap Wrench

Lisle have been making tools for many years. I have their old sockets from over 40 years. you are good I bought an oil filter socket that has 15 oil filter grooves and snaps into place. Its diameter is 93 mm, filters Mopar M)-041 and wix 57899XP and filters for your Dodge Ram Cummins diesel engine. I think so Fleetguard & Baldwin & Mobil is an M-405. I just tested it on the Wix 57899XP, it fits snugly, no play or play when installed on the oil filter cover. Lisle is an American company, but…

3/8 hole is weak AF

This adapter is rubbish and I have no idea how it got good reviews. The 3/8 hole has maybe 1/8" soft metal that just came loose on the first try. I don't see it badly because my filter was sticking badly as you can see I broke the welded bushing around that To fix hole issue, the 3/8 hole came loose too easily, I didn't even try to loosen it before drilling holes and using self tapping screws as I knew it just turned on the filter and another Wrench pulled to remove it but It worked. I would…

Works very well if filter isn't overtightened

That'll be fine until the last mechanic who installed the filter digs in and overtightens like so many do. If the filter has been overtightened, this wrench may not work. It is slightly larger than the filter itself, which is not a problem if the filter is tightened to specification; but it will round corners if the filter has been overdrawn. If this is the case then you really have no choice but to remove the cover and remove the filter using a Jay type oil filter wrench or a strap. In short…

Unfortunately does not work on 2004 4.6 F150

Bought based on research and reviews. Test fits Motorcraft FL-820s filter I had on the shelf, nice setup. I know someone who changed the oil on a 2004 F-150 4.6 who knows the absurd location of the oil filter so I decided to purchase this item. I use a lot of force to install my own filters and always have to deal with a clumsy two-handled oil filter wrench that requires perfect placement or if squeezed too hard it will punch a hole in the filter. According to so many reviews, this was the…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I'll write later

Bought a few weeks ago, the metal structure is good, solid and the finish is good so it does not rust. Using it at a GM dealership for daily oil changes is an essential tool that is used all the time. Used with some frame filters but mostly with AC-Delco filters like spin-on filters like PF46, 47, 48, 52, 61, 63, 64 (not a UPF64R filter as the filter diameter is a bit wider than PF64 and hardly fits in a cup , just spins and slides off). The bad side of this product, which I'm still looking…
