Need something to block our pellet stove and it was perfect. We removed the panel and then needed a different mount because we now needed two identical connections. I contacted the manufacturer and they quickly sent us one for free! Couldn't be happier with the whole process.

I've only been using my gate for a month and the plastic piece holding the gate broke when I tried to close it, the plastic piece flew into the room as did the screw. Thank goodness it happened to me and not when my little one was attached to it! Now I have a broken gate, no replacement until I order new ones, and a very active toddler who will now keep me even more on my toes!

We got this for our wood burning stove. It's solid enough and does the job we got it for. However, the installation was quite difficult and time-consuming. The corners are meant to lock so it can't be moved/reshaped but my 2 year old can still shake it and move and reshape it. Also, the gates you can go through are pretty weak. All you have to do is give it a little tug and it pops open, so we had to secure it further with some mini shoelaces. In general it does the job but looks cheap.

What the heck! Terrible instructions. The included mounting screws have a head that is too small and will slip through the mounting hardware, requiring you to use different screws. Not to mention that they have to let you know that you have to install the hardware before you put all the pieces together, otherwise your drill won't fit in the space to actually screw it into the wall. And the door doesn't close well, you have to manipulate it every time you want to close it. If it weren't so…

Am I doing something wrong? I ordered this product for our fireplace to protect our little one. He came with no gate attached and no direction. There is a silver screw and a small piece of plastic, but whatever configuration I try to attach it in doesn't work. It climbs too high and comes out of the little nest it should be in. When we unpacked it, it was incredibly dirty. Like it's out in the mud. I didn't think about it too much because we live in Las Vegas, so I figured maybe it got dusty during shipping or something. When we put it together we found that the top latch was broken and the piece on the side of the fence was scratched as if it had been used.
