This ladder was my third purchase from Little Giant. I have a 20 foot ladder and a 26 foot ladder and love both. These ladders are reliable, versatile and easy to use. The security ladder is really not true. When the ladder is open, it is strong and stable. The steps are a bit difficult to open and fold, but my big issue is the safety bar. The bar is easy to open and close. There are two release handles that must be pressed to fold the safety bar. On my stairs it was very difficult to work with
