Large front flap for Viper 10.4 kayak. Seems very well made, not sure if the screws are stainless steel or not, we'll find out, I should have just checked them with a magnet but forgot. Very easy to assemble and seals well.

This sunroof is a HUGE improvement over the standard sunroof on my Future Beach Explorer 10.4. It was very easy to assemble, fits great and seems pretty well made. The only thing that bothers me is that the screws just screw into the plastic, there isn't much to attach them to. hope they hold up!

I was very happy that the hatch worked. I bought 2 packs, the second has a small gap. For some reason I thought the bags were waterproof but they aren't. It's still nice to have a first aid kit, tissues, an extra hat and bug spray on hand instead of having to pack them every time.

I mounted this sunroof on my Future Beach 10.4 Mariner from the front and it looks like it came from the factory. very happy with the end result. The bag is not waterproof despite the tightness of the hatch. You can probably spray waterproof it to help, but you can still seal the items in a separate waterproof bag before throwing them. The hatch looks great and will make a world of difference in how I stow my small gear.

I love the extra storage. Worth every penny! No need to buy an electric saw. I was able to carve out the original storage space with an $11 handsaw. Cut through the kayak like butter. The whole mod took me about 10 minutes including cleaning. There were no installation instructions included! Tools needed: hand saw, sandpaper, drill and Phillips screwdriver. Small vacuum cleaner for sawing and drilling.

The MiniBoatin' on YT provides you with all the information you need to install it on your Future Beach Explorer kayak. It's very easy and won't take long. I think it took me 30 minutes from start to finish. I like the usefulness of this update; I mainly use it to store my wallet and keys. I recommend packing your items in a waterproof bag or box. I don't really trust the bag that comes with the hatch to keep things completely dry. Also, I have to say that the hatch definitely makes the kayak…

Great sunroof and easy install! I just bought this Sundolphin Explorer 10.4 and knew right away that the 'hatch' needed replacing. The supplied manhole cover does not stay attached and can easily be lost. Also the fact that it's only about two inches deep; absolutely pointless. To complete the modification I used an oscillating multi-tool with a saw blade. The raised "ring" holding the old rubber manhole cover had been completely cut out, flush with the boat. This is a well made product. Feels solid and well designed. The lid has a rubber seal to prevent water ingress. Haven't tried it on the water yet but I have a feeling it will work well. It also comes with a rubber gasket for use between the frame and the mounting surface and all necessary hardware. I want to love this product. The bag was decent quality, the plastic was very strong and durable and I'm a fan of the locking mechanism. However, I regret to inform you that the outside diameter is 11 1/4 inches. Not 11". If you install it on the flat part of the case, that's not a problem. Unfortunately, my kayak has 11" pre-punched holes. After trying to install the sunroof, it doesn't fit properly because it's slightly larger than the hole.
