🐦 Nesting Material for Birds and Small Animals by Lixit Review

I couldn't believe how much this cost. I love my hummingbirds so much I bought them anyway. The package is so small. Hummingbirds didn't use it or other birds. My neighbor did the same and not a single bird took advantage of it. Please save your money.

It's just a tiny pack of Carefresh bedding, so you'd better buy a big pack. It's not cotton, sure, it's good for rodents and probably safer than cellulosic nesting material, but it didn't really work for my needs.

I have a male canary who likes to take small pieces and scatter them around. He then picks her up again and moves her around before throwing her out of the cage. He plays for hours. I also have a little nest that he likes to put them in. I thought it was a woman, but turns out I was wrong. Only male canaries sing.

This is an amazing bedding, undyed, no chemicals, just soft, warm cotton bedding. I bought a squirrel box for mine, unfortunately the squirrels refused to use it and got kicked out of the house, but I don't think it's because there's anything wrong with the product.

This litter is rough and hard (for small birds) and cannot be broken and carried away. I usually buy from the pet section of the grocery store - the litter is smooth and silky soft so all birds, large and small, use it with ease and enthusiasm. This bedding is definitely not for hummingbirds, too stiff and hard, I only ordered this because I couldn't get to the store fast enough and the nest building is NOW in full swing. Still suitable for jays etc, but soft bedding that covers ALL birds gives
