Bottle half empty: car care

The bottle was opened, half empty and no spill. Update even though the website doesn't say so. or on the Locite website the bottles seem to be shipped half full when new so they don't harden (spoil) faster. Now I regret not returning it.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good car care material

Works as advertised. I want a colorless version. The woman broke the cup. The break was clean. Connected back with rubber bands. Just a few drops on the surface of the crack and it penetrated all cracks. After 24 hours everything was fixed with a small green line at the break point.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Loctite, still one of the best

Have tried many threadlockers for various home projects, automotive projects etc. I used to use it a lot in industrial conditions. You can save a few bucks by purchasing a general purpose threadlocker, but when it comes to cleaning, application, strength, chemical resistance and more, Loctite branded products are hard to beat. 5/5 would highly recommend Loctite 290 for all listed applications.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

Ideal for smaller diameter fasteners

"Green" formula is for smaller diameter fasteners, typically less than 0.25 inch. This formula can be applied prior to threading, or it can also soak into the threads to keep the threaded joint taut. This is a lower strength formula suitable for such smaller fasteners. I wouldn't normally use "green" for large fasteners. Instead, use a medium-strength "Blue" formula that can be softened with hand tools. Or, for a near-permanent installation, a high-strength "red" formula that will not come…

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Damaged
