Protects my hands

I really like these because they really help protect your hand from the heat of a cast iron skillet. I feel safe using them

Pros
  • Worth your money
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Cool and useful!

Purchased for use in 6" and 8" cast iron skillets when used as individual portions. It is convenient to use so guests don't burn their fingers during dinner!

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Useless to me Best in Cookware Accessories

They are advertised as 3 inches long but they are 5 inches long. I could buy something for 1/4 the price if I wanted 5 inches. My cast iron pans have short handles and are now unusable.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • I won't say anything

heat passes a little

heat still passes. Not really, really terrible, but you definitely feel it. These handles are much thinner than those sold in the store with an 8 inch pan. Easy to remove and clean.

Pros
  • i hold my fists
Cons
  • sad packaging

Not up to lodge standards.

Mini does not fit 6.5" Lodge pan. He is too big. For a 10.5-inch pan, it's narrow - too heavy to take off or put on when hot. Also, the heat from the flame (not the direct flame) began to melt the material.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some cons

Hardly fits. It's getting too hot.

I have a 7 inch cast iron skillet. Attaching and detaching the holder from the pen is very difficult. It gets too hot to leave on while cooking, so the question is "What's good about it?". Because it's very difficult to put on and take off, I can't just put it on when I need to use the handle.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Useless features

Misleading size on cookware

I bought these to use on my 6 1/2 inch skillet. They are not 3 inches tall as stated in the description. It's actually 4 1/2 inches. They fit the 6 1/2 pan very loosely and keep slipping off. I burned my finger on the handle from slipping a small frying pan. They're much better on a long-stemmed 8-inch pan. If they were really 3 inches like the description says they would fit in a smaller pan. Maybe the red ones are closer to 3 inches, but the two black packs definitely aren't.

Pros
  • Always Liked
Cons
  • Trade in Available

This holder gets hot.

I was hoping this holder would attach during cooking like the previous cloth/insulated handle holder I have, but the heat felt through the silicone and I couldn't hold the pan longer than one raise for a few seconds. And it's not as easy to put on and take off as the cloth I have. So if you forget to put the holder on the handle before heating the pan OR you want to remove the holder as it has overheated it gets a bit stressful/difficult. I'm surprised my sling was better in every way.

Pros
  • Finally bought
