Big size! good for frying pans

This pan has become my most used pan in the house. It's a great size for our family of 6 - if it were bigger it would be too bulky to store and quite heavy to wash. I use it in my glass lid oven with no problems.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

It literally EXPLODES!

Frying pan switched on to heat, meat cooked, loud crackling heard! Half of the pot was upside down! My husband ran in half turned wasn't even hot enough to need a glove! I was very lucky, it could have been a lot worse!

universal pan. Great offer!

Great frying pan, especially for the price! We used it for ratatouille and it was just perfect! The pot went straight from the stove to the oven and then onto the table. After washing, be sure to dry on the stove or in the oven, and then coat with bearing oil. Would buy this again.

So it's not cool.: pots and pans

came rusty and damaged, fresh out of the box, which is unacceptable. I know these pans can rust over time because I learned to clean them before I bought them, but nobody should walk out in this condition. That's unprofessional. Now I have to find time to complete the refund or fight for my money, clean it up and just keep it. So not cool.

The two shorter handles make this very comfortable.

I have several cast iron supplies but this is my new favorite. Yes, he is heavy. But instead of the standard longer handle on one side and shorter handle on the other, it has short handles on both sides. It's much easier to handle for me, and since I'm pretty serious about cooking, I don't look for a safe spot for a long handle that always seems to get in the way. I love it. I also use my cast iron in the oven and like it when the annoying long handle doesn't get in the way.

  • Finally bought

A piece of aged art.

This beautiful work of art arrived in excellent condition, aged and I am very happy with it. I washed it with warm water, dried it, brushed it with a thin layer of linseed oil, covered it with corn batter and put it in the oven. Clean up after baking was easy, and the only problem I anticipate owning this beautiful creation is who should leave it in my will. Two short arms is my dream because long arms and my short arms don't always coexist peacefully. I would give this Lodge cast iron skillet…

Excellent skillet. I had a hard time being good.

Excellent frying pan. I was struggling to get good numbers on this item prior to purchase, so here they are: Lodge L10SKL 12" Cast Iron Skillet with 2 Handles, Measurements Exact: 12 1/8" OD on top. Outside diameter at the handles: 14 5/8 inches. Outer diameter at spout: 12 3/4 inches. External Height: 2 1/4 inches. Bottom OD* (flat area between radii) approximately 9 1/2 inches. Top Inner Diameter: 11 3/4"; Bottom Inner Diameter (flat area between radii) 10". Inner Depth: 2". *Bottom OD is…

The 10 " is better

I am skeptical about this purchase. On the one hand, the two handle design is a good idea. Cast iron pans don't need a long handle because you're never going to flip or shake a heavy pan like that like a stainless steel or Teflon pan. Thus, the dual handles make it much easier to use and store. On the other hand, a 12" pan is too big and not worth the higher price. While 12" can be fine for searing meat and roast chicken, it is they are too big for other common dishes. For example, most recipes

It's a beast! on pans

I bought this article without great expectations. This is far superior to any other cast iron I own and as a lodge I knew the finish wasn't going to be great. I recently used some old Griswolds and the high gloss finish on these old pans is amazing. I've had other houses and I knew that after some work and time the finish would improve and be more than functional, but it would never have the same glossy finish as the old ones. When the package arrived I was impressed by its weight. I started by
