Description of Logitech Cordless Revolution Bluetooth Keyboard
- 1. Silent pressing of a key on the keyboard 2. Original (9solid) design 3. Reasonably comfortable mouse 4. probably + can be attributed to a comfortable cradle .
- 1. Silent keystrokes gradually disappeared and after 2-3 months of use, the keyboard rumbles like the simplest model (I never knock on it, I don’t play games, I just type :))) 2. Bluetooth connection - 10 times a day 3. The mouse slows down - before that there was a laser logitech, but on the radio - there was nothing like it! 4. The software has been ated 10 times, gradually works better - but not significantly 5. Terribly overpriced, or perhaps it would be more correct to say, the quality does not really match the price
- for those who hold it in their hands and use it for a day, other mice will no longer fit. precisely because of the convenience, the number of customizable buttons and software in 2022. there was one mouse better (warkraft) for playing Warcraft, there it is a wired lot of buttons but the software is not in 2022.
- oh buttons would be even more, heh
- The main advantage of this kit is bluetooth. Let me explain: I bought this kit specifically for use with a laptop (since I have it connected to a monitor and acts as a stationary home PC). The laptop has 3 USB ports that are always busy with something. These keyboard and mouse connect remarkably not only with the native transmitter from the kit, but also with the bluetooth built into the laptop. Thus, I connected the keyboard and mouse to the computer without taking up any USB ports. The second huge plus is ergonomics. What with the keyboard, what with the mouse to work - it's a pleasure. The buttons on the keyboard are very quiet. The mouse wheel with kinetic scrolling is simply a masterpiece. I got used to this function instantly, now on all mice out of habit I try to quickly scroll the wheel). The third huge plus is the time of work. According to the manufacturer, the keyboard will work on the same batteries for six months. Well, I have a set of only a month, so I don’t know about Claudia - so far it shows 100% of the charge. The mouse is completely indestructible. For all the time of use, the charge indicator did not fall below one hundred percent. Even when I leave it on all night, without charging, it still shows 100% in the morning. The build quality of the kit is excellent - there is simply nothing to complain about. The look is great too. Also, the advantages include the presence of a screen and additional multimedia keys on the keyboard. True, the screen is not very functional, and I hardly use additional keys. But at least they are, and that's a plus.
- The only and terrible drawback is the SetPoint driver. There was a disk with the old version in the kit, I downloaded the latest version from the Logitech website. The problem is this: the mouse has an extra wheel on the side (it's actually a joystick). So, with the help of SetPoint it is almost impossible to configure it normally. By default, it is set to switch applications (Flip 3D), BUT: In the old version of SetPoint, any movement of the wheel / clicking on it turned on the Flip 3D mode. Weak functionality for a whole wheel, one button would be enough for this. This issue has been resolved in the new version of SetPoint. Pressing the wheel turns on Flip 3D, and tilting the wheel turns it on scrolling. But, again, there is a BUT: Firstly, after the start of SetPoint, the first time the wheel is deflected, it turns on not scrolling, but Flip 3D. Secondly, this wheel scrolls by 2 points at once, and the scrolling step is not adjustable. In the same Flip 3D, such scrolling cannot be used. Let's say if you have 3 windows open, then when you scroll, you will go from the first to the third, bypassing the second. Thus, the functionality of the wheel is again reduced to the functionality of a single button. In addition, sometimes the wheel stops working altogether, the problem is solved by restarting SetPoint. You can also put a zoom or volume control on this wheel, but there are also such buttons on the keyboard. You can also put a special scrolling, which is absolutely identical to scrolling with the main wheel, except that with such scrolling, the mouse pointer changes to ugly icons. You can also set 3 different actions for this wheel (perhaps this is the best option), but there are problems here: If you assign an arrow to deflect the wheel, then it will work once (there is no effect of a pressed key). In general, unfortunately, I did not find an application for the side wheel, it is inactive for me (((
- The build quality is at the Logitech level, everything is at the highest level. Printing is a pleasure. I have more requirements for a mouse, especially if it is claimed to be the best in the world ; -))
- The mouse reacts badly to micro-movements, twitches. I put a piece of paper on it, it got better. Pts. strange for a sensor of the declared level. The previous wireless A4Tech worked perfectly on this surface (laminated table) with a sub-pixel smooth feel. Out of habit, the brush tenses up, unpleasant sensations. The drivers do not support scrolling in an inactive window, it is solved by installing additional software KatMouse www. Ehiti. De/katmouse/. There are fewer complaints about the keyboard - you just need to get used to it. The cursor is shifted down, you don't always hit ENTER when scrolling directories. The HOME-END keys were poorly moved, too far to reach them from the "squeezed" SHIFT, and again move the hand to the cursor, which introduces some inconvenience when working with text, although it may look advantageous in the overall design. You quickly get used to all these things, in two days.
- Bought a relatively long time ago, about 4 years ago. The first impression when buying this kit - wow! I became the owner of this top-end wireless set, now I am independent of wires, because in the 21st century I wanted something more perfect, new, technological, somewhat fancy, and the purchase price is also considerable . What can I highlight from the advantages of this kit: + Long operating time of the keyboard from the batteries inserted into it (~ 165 days from 4 Duracell batteries - the software indicator displays all this information); + One charge of the mouse is enough for 8 hours of load ~ for 3 and a half days (by the way, I want to note that the mouse does not work on batteries, because it has a non-replaceable, built-in battery); + Very comfortable mouse, in terms of ergonomics there are no complaints. In the hand lies very comfortable and comfortable, everything is good here. However, the mouse is designed for the right hand; + Thoughtful mouse controls. Here we can separately note the excellent intelligent middle scroll wheel. Scrolling through documents and applications becomes extremely convenient, I want to emphasize the word extremely, just turn the wheel a little more and it goes into free rotation mode, releasing it, the wheel returns to its standard position. By the way, the software has a lot of mouse settings. You can optionally enable or disable the free rotation function, in general, to whom it is convenient. Another important control here is the side wheel under the thumb of the mouse, which can move back and forth. It will be useful as a way to switch open applications, this can be seen especially effectively in Windows 7 with the "Aero" interface enabled; + Built-in mouse case charge indicator; + LCD keyboard display with displayed ambient temperature sensor; + Side media keyboard keys, as well as the calculator key and the "Fn" key; + Keyboard and mouse design; + Fast mouse charging ~ 1.5h; + Perfect bluetooth connection.
- Among the identified shortcomings, I can note: - Keyboard keys eventually lose their softness of pressing, acquire predominantly more creaking colors; - Some keys began to stick in the keyboard, for example, the "back", "right" control keys began to stick; - Fragile rear keyboard legs. And also, when trying to take them out, they periodically try to get out of the mount, in connection with which it is possible to get a bend in the leg and subsequently fracture it; - The Logitech logo on the mouse has been erased, as well as the arrow pointers "right", "left" of the middle mouse wheel; - Near the side wheel of the mouse, a wiped lining appeared from the constant presence of the thumb there; - I don’t know if this should be considered a disadvantage, but I initially had a black pixel line broken across the mouse indicator image. I don’t know what it could be, either a factory defect, or something else, in general, for me it was an unpleasant moment for some time, but then I finally put up with it . - It would be possible to add a backlight to the LCD display, then it would be logical to add the backlight of the keyboard keys, but this is probably so, my little quibbles. - The speed and accuracy of the mouse is good, but not quite good for fast focus games; - Still, the built-in battery of the mouse, when it exhausts itself and you will have to change not the battery, but most likely the entire mouse; - From time to time, such a phenomenon as a failure to charge the mouse began to be observed. When inserted into the charger, nothing happens. You have to insert the mouse into the charger several times, in the hope that the charge indicator will appear. - The rear metal contacts of the mouse began to wear out a little. - Price.
- Claudia: no super demand! the keys are quiet, soft + the built-in screen (a stand-alone calculator and THERMOMETER ! it may seem that why it is there, but a nice and useful little thing :) and additional buttons also became comfortable for me after a week of use) mouse: ergonomic hand lies perfectly, hand does not strain and the palm lies perfectly, on the batteries (charger included), the most chic in this mouse is its WHEEL ! it's just something. In the driver, it can be configured for everyone and scrolling with it is a pleasure! changes its "clicks" to fast scrolling automatically (as you set up in firewood)
- Well, that's it and enough about the good! for work, this mouse is generally without criticism (except for the price), but for toys it’s absolutely terrible ! full brake. I often play WIC duck there it comes to the point of absurdity! it slows down so much at times that I lose seconds to find it on the monitor (arrow), well, as you understand, they bang me at that time :( for such money and such speed it’s just an ambush! I bought it for 6800 in Hong Kong, I wanted anything be ergonomic and fast, got:(((
- beautiful, high-quality plastic, stylish
- buttons, buttons. buttons.
- Design, ergonomics, workmanship. Quiet keys. Great mouse.
- There is no sensible display setting, it does not have a backlight. Built-in battery in the mouse (better AA).
- Cool keyboard, ergonomically comfortable mouse, everything is cool ! I really like everything. if only one big but according to the main functionality of the device. .
- Logitech product "Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution" unsuccessful . The mouse does not provide accurate positioning because the 90-100Hz polling rate is too slow. For games finally death. How to increase the frequency of polling a response from the support service, I did not receive. In addition, the bluetooth drivers do not run at a sufficiently high operating system priority, which leads to poor mouse response when the system's CPU is loaded. shamanism with bluetooth drivers did not help. StPoint latest version is worth it. I will return or exchange!
- I agree with all of the points above! Up to two years, the kit worked flawlessly!
- The only and main drawback I recognize is only the low quality of the material from which the button mechanism is made. Creaking and jamming, after 4 years of operation, appeared even on rarely used keys.
- Very pretty keyboard.
- Not advanced in technology, 4 batteries in the keyboard last only half a year, Battery in the mouse, stupid charging
- Sophisticated ergonomics, fast charging of the mouse for a long time of work, It is very convenient to use the mouse in the browser, horizontal + vertical (intelligent) scrolling, search for a selected text fragment. Keyboard with LCD display with various information, additional and programmable keys. Bluetooth connection is reliable, no problems, just like with the mechanical part of the kit.
- The workmanship is good, but after two years of use, all the inscriptions in contact with the hand have been erased on the mouse, the soft keyboard cover in contact with the wrist is gradually peeling off, the mouse soft cover has peeled off to plastic at the point of contact with the thumb, horizontal scrolling to the left works and to the right with difficulty. Sometimes, to charge the mouse, you have to insert it into the cradle several times.
- Key travel. Clarity of work. Everything is on bluetooth.
- Well, in general, I haven’t found it yet, except that I can’t change my favorites. Well, I myself am not a fan of the abundance of buttons on the clave - so I turned them all off. Did not pick up the players.
- As already mentioned - the mouse wheel is just super, the mouse itself is just a work of art, light, comfortable, a lot of buttons. Claudia has a screen with a calculator, thermometer, etc. The mouse has a long-lasting battery (there is a charge indicator), after a year it lasts for a week, the batteries for the keyboard last about half a year. And, (attention!) there are holes in the clave, especially for draining beer, coffee, etc. :) After spilling drinks, problems arise only with special buttons that fit tightly to the body - after disassembly and rubbing with alcohol, everything is ok.
- I wish there were lights! Well, a somewhat "modernized" layout of the keys.
