Works even with older Logitech mice that didn't originally come with a pairing dongle. To install, download the Unifying software from the official Logi website. It's an orange badge, the same as the one on the key itself. Install the app. Run the setup wizard to pair your new device and you're done. I added 3 devices to one key as soon as I got it.

DOA received, will not be paired. Tried multiple devices, computers, etc. DOA product ready to use. I've seen some good good reviews as well as some problematic reviews. It's a godsend whether you get a good one or a bad one. Not much of a chance when you're dropping $10 for something the size of a fingernail. Bought it with Prime assuming everything would be fine. The item is marked as non-returnable. Over €10 and you can't return it? Emailed Revain about this and awaited a response.

Just arrived today (06/12/18). If you just plug it directly into your computer, it won't automatically pair with your mouse (or whatever). You must open (or install and open) the "Logitech Merging Software" from the Logitech website. It is then very easy, intuitive and fast to connect the mouse to the computer. It lasted 15 seconds. As great as it is to be able to buy a dongle instead of a new mouse, Logitech needs to rethink its pricing. For $15 I can buy a brand new M325 that comes with a merging receiver. I don't even like the m325, but I could buy a spare mouse for $1 more than I'll pay for this dongle.
