Professional for 3D printer parts and accessories

Solid product. Make sure you are using an external 12-36 volt power supply. The blue connectors on the Grbl screen make it easy to set up. When you're ready, it's basically plug and play. For the software you need the hex code first (quick on google) and then use x-loader to flash it onto the arduino/grbl screen. You can then use the universal gcode sender to launch your files. Under $100 CNC Machine, here I am! Combined with an inexpensive XY table and a power supply, I have everything I need.

Out of the Bin

Mine must have come out of the bin! ENGINES: First let me say that the engines themselves seem fine so far. CNC SHIELD: The board had green corrosion on all the brass pins, making connecting/disconnecting jumpers, drivers, and motors more difficult than it should be (not to mention poor electrical contact). The external power connector (the blue part with the screws) had a white film of corrosion on the top of the screws, and the metal case inside was covered in rust. The Z-axis capacitor also…

Motors are fine, shield and drivers are a different story.

I am an electrical engineer by training and design electronics for manufacturing every day. I have this experiment kit and god I have the experiment. I read the instructions, downloaded the firmware zip file - compiled and tested. The Arduino spoke great to GRBL. I connected the shield, a motor and a motor as the instructions say. When I started sending the G-code, the motor ran fine. I switched off the power and tested each motor with the same driver. I started draining where the motor…
