Ready to work with Raspberry Pi

Compatibility and performance as advertised. Works out of the box on my Raspberry Pi B+ running Raspbian, no need to mess around with drivers. Seems to be stable. Since my Pi is older and not very fast, the main bottleneck when surfing the web etc. is usually the Pi hardware and not the WiFi adapter, so the transfer speed is perfect for my needs (I don't usually need to transfer GB files to and from the Pi). I plan to use it with the ROCK64 as well and am optimistic about how easy it is to useโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great value for money

  • Big and bulky

Linux Ready for Network Adapters

The manual is incorrect. This device requires additional power supply, which is only available via USB 3.0 or higher. When connecting with USB 2.0 or older, the device doesn't even turn on, so your computer doesn't even recognize it. On Windows it is possible that the driver will increase the USB 2.0 performance to allow it to work. On Ubuntu 18.04, just connect to USB 3 and wait 10 seconds. Then select your wireless network (no additional steps required). The same applies to all Linuxโ€ฆ

If you use Linux, this is the adapter you need!

Linux has built-in mode setting support for the RA5370 chipset. This works with any distro, including distros where you may have trouble using other wireless adapters. Arch, CentOS, etc. have been problematic for me on some Wi-Fi chipsets, but this works without absolute customization. plug and play Reception from this tiny nano key seems to be as good as anything I've used. It's tiny, low power consumption (has a couple of LEDs to indicate status) and best of all, it's cheap. Linux users don't

Works fine with USB network adapters

I had an old computer with no Wi-Fi card. I didn't know if it would really work. But I just plugged the small USB jack into the computer, inserted the included minidisk into the computer, selected the additional Windows driver (there are several options, e.g. Mac, Android.) and the driver was installed, thanks its the little usb jack gives me the ability to connect to my home wifi! I was done in a few minutes. As friends have told me I have to lug my computer to a technician to install a Wi-Fiโ€ฆ

CHROMEBOOK - WORKS GREAT - 100% BETTER!

WOW, that solved my Chromebook problems. Get it, it works! Apparently the Dell 7310 13-inch Chromebook was designed not to have a WiFi antenna. After much research, I found out that this Chromebook's Wi-Fi antenna in the display hinge gets damaged over time. One day, the WiFi suddenly stopped working unless you were standing a few feet from the router. But looking back, this Chromebook model never had a good WiFi range from day one. For less than $9, this wireless adapter solved the problem and
