WOW, that solved my Chromebook problems. Get it, it works! Apparently the Dell 7310 13-inch Chromebook was designed not to have a WiFi antenna. After much research, I found out that this Chromebook's Wi-Fi antenna in the display hinge gets damaged over time. One day, the WiFi suddenly stopped working unless you were standing a few feet from the router. But looking back, this Chromebook model never had a good WiFi range from day one. For less than $9, this wireless adapter solved the problem and saved my otherwise fine Chromebook from the junkyard. A few important details to pay attention to. I also tried a similar product that didn't work. That is, LOTEKOO 300Mbps USB WiFi Adapter does not work on Chromebook. In order for it to work on a Chromebook, it MUST have the Ralink 5370 chipset in the product description. It also has great range, I can move from one part of the house to another without missing a beat while watching 1080p HD videos. It works fine on the router's 2.4GHz frequency, but somehow it boosts my router's 5G frequency connection as well. I'm not even sure how that's possible. Before I received this product, my WiFi antenna was so damaged that the Chromebook couldn't even connect to 5G no matter how close I was to the router. Now I'm connecting to 5G with a good connection verified by Google's internet speed test app. Finally, another little thing is that it has a couple of little blue LEDs to indicate that it's working. It's a little annoying, especially in low light, but it's no big deal. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. I'm really amazed. It worked a few seconds after connecting. So if you have a Chromebook with a bad internet antenna, use this product to solve your problem.
