The Cruciate Saver - Dogs

My 118lb Newf tore her right cruciate ligament just months after she had a problem with her left leg. She eventually required TPLO surgery on her right leg and was diagnosed with a partial tear in her left leg at the same time. First we wrapped a towel under her to make sure she didn't overload her left leg and couldn't use her right. She was unable to stand up on her own for the first few days after the operation and even trying to lift herself up was too strenuous, so it took several tries…

There are probably better straps/slings out there.

Hate is a strong word, but this suspension was terrible! I would have sent it back but as we had no choice at the time it was second hand and had dog fur on it (we have since found an AMAZING harness here on Revain https://www.amazon.com/dp). /B00GPYFA50/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0 which was expensive but considering we spent $30 on it. This thing was flimsy, cheaply made, slipped down over our older dog and was just awful to use when we needed to get him to do his thing. Every time we used it,

The Lab Shepherd mix went from normal to crash the next day

My 12 year old 100lb Lab Shepherd mix felt fine at first but passed out the next day. After a brief visit to the vet who was diagnosed with a pinched nerve, he came home but the next morning he couldn't get up, couldn't walk no matter how hard he tried. Trying to get him in the car, in the car, and to the vet was an unimaginable nightmare. I was almost certain that his prediction was wrong. After researching the best product for me to help him, I ordered the slings. When I took him to the vet…

NOT FOR CATS DOGS on harness vests

If you're looking for this, you probably need it ASAP because your furry friend needs it so badly to help potty train until the wound heals, or when it doesn't. They need it forever because of a spine or hip injury. In my case my friend had an ACL operation so I need it. And that doesn't help at all. For those who need it to support their hind legs, they are not suitable as they gather near the dog's crotch. This makes it very, very uncomfortable for men to urinate. I think it works for women…

Good price but some limitations

I have a very old active but declining dog weighing 75lbs. He has bad elbow and spine arthritis that causes weakness in the hind legs. In addition, he underwent radical surgery to remove cancer in his mouth. It was hard for him to recover because he's like a shark - if he stops moving he'll "die". He's my decrepit Energizer bunny. The more he moves, the better he does it. If he has to run to work or lie down for a long time, he has serious problems with his hind legs. I needed something to…
