Given the lowest price for this type of gauge I wasn't expecting to get the most accurate and reliable product. They work well and are suitable for what I need them for, a very basic indoor hydroponic garden. The readings on the PH meter jump around and struggle to get a stable PH level. The EC meter is slightly more reliable, but still differs slightly from individual measurements of the same solution. We bought a used hot tub and installed it in our garage. We wanted to make sure the item is clean and stays clean. It suited us perfectly! PH tested 7.5 (neutral).
