good helmet A little bit small.

I really like this helmet. I've had a one-piece full face helmet for over 30 years, but I've always wanted a modular helmet. When I read that this also has a built in sun visor I decided to give it a try. I measured my head and got 59.75cm so I bought 59-60 (large). It was too tight so I reset it to 61-62 (x-large) cm. It fits better around the head and temples but is still a bit tight on the cheeks but not uncomfortable. These helmets are for an oval head (I think) but mine is closer to a…

Almost perfect mid range modular helmet

I like everything about this cap except that it is VERY loud on my BMW R1200GS unless I hide it behind a screen. I'm probably dealing with turbulence, hence YMMV. I wear hearing protection 95% of the time anyway, but even a quick spin can be a bit noisy if you miss it, especially at speeds over 40mph. It's also pretty heavy, but that's due to modular territory. Coming from a pair of Schuberth helmets, the noise trade-off of being able to use it as a 3/4 helmet without looking (too much) like a…

Poor gear, not for long jaws

I bought this hoping to replace my aging Nolan N-44 helmet. The Nolan is 2x bigger and the chin bar barely fits. I hope to be able to ride more in the coming cold, so that's important for me. The Valiant 2 looks great, the mechanism works well to move and rotate the visor. back until I heard a plastic click and the chin bar stopped rotating forward after vertical. The arm on the side of the plastic helmet bulged outward when I pulled it forward. I finally got it to close again, but returned it…

The best from both worlds!

I was a bit hesitant to spend that much money on a helmet because there are cheaper options. However, I was looking for something truly convertible because I like to drive both open face and full face depending on the condition or situation. Most modular helmets just flip up, which is pretty ugly and creates a weird airflow around the head when it's upside down. I was intrigued by the design of this helmet and when I received it I was not disappointed. The chin bar actually rotates 180 degrees,

  • This is great
