Lube Locker fits parts

I ordered this seal for a 2001 Ford F-250 Superduty with a Dana 50 front. I thoroughly cleaned the differential and the cover surfaces. Gasket fit was excellent and I made sure to tighten the fasteners to advertised specs. I had no leaks or problems at all. The installation was uncomplicated.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

The Best After Sliced Bread

I don't know how I didn't know about them before, but RTV is gone?! Sign me up! Got it today and installed it and the diff is filled. No leaks! I am very impressed and happy. I put this on my '93 Dodge W350, one on the back (Dana 70) and one on the front (Dana 60). They have the same coverage. Great product, great job by the guys at Lube Locker

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • New Competitors Have Popped Up

Much better than a regular gasket

So I bought a new truck and changed all the fluids. I bought Rock Auto American Standard Gear pads because they were half the price. I did everything right - wiped the mating surface with a brush and even replaced the differential cover, but it's still leaking. 2 weeks later I changed the fluid again, this time with a LubeLocker Pad. That works great. It has multiple layers of rubber for tightness and I have no doubt that it will last a long time.

Pros
  • Testers give high marks for support and durability
Cons
  • Fairly good

Simple and saves money on frequent changes

The differential oil in my 1985 Dana 70 motorhome looked like the original oil. Because of this, I intend to do some short oil change intervals. This eliminates many of the hassles of changing the oil after 1,000 miles or less, saving time and money compared to buying, cleaning and wasting an RTV. After thoroughly cleaning the mating surfaces, installing the gasket and cover, and tightening the bolts to specification, there are no leaks. It remains to be seen how well it holds up through…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Hard to tell

High quality product

I was quite skeptical about buying this gasket for my Ford Power Stroke but after the workmanship and installation I couldn't be happier. As soon as you receive it, you'll notice a sturdy metal core wrapped in a rubber compound, plus an extra bead of some sort of silicone for a snug and consistent fit. It also fits perfectly in the differential housing, where some of the gaskets lip slightly protrude and disrupt internal fluid dynamics. I've driven about 500 miles on one lube change and no sign

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
