Great blades at a great price!

Looking for replacement blades for some of the finishing work I've done and these are the ones you need. They're still sharp and I love the vinyl guards they put on them. This is a good price for them, I will look here in the future.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Modern

Great Blade: Blades, Parts & Accessories

Was looking for a 1/2" arbor saw blade for an old saw and spoke to a gentleman who sharpens knives. I was told that if I couldn't find a blade with a 1/2" mandrel he could get me a shim to change from 5/8" to 1/2". I ordered this blade, received the gasket and it works great! The blade itself cuts like a knife through butter.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Having trouble

Great value - great service - same day delivery

I have installed a 60T blade to replace an original factory blade - - - 10+ years of service which has served me well on many of my home renovation projects has done . The new 60T blade runs very smoothly and my test cut was like a finished cut on a small piece of wood. Easy install with a 1/2" open end wrench and a PH #2 screwdriver. UPDATE: - This carbide tipped blade makes the perfect cut for my 2x2 screen aluminum frame

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Normal blade - probably good for wood, fair for metal

This is a good, efficient saw blade. However, it is stated to cut steel and metal and this is a bit of an exaggeration. I had trouble cutting thin sheet metal with a miter saw. You can't push it through metal like it's wood. You can cut metal across the sheet metal (go over a thin section). The mine's blade began to dull after several hits on the metal. This is a great price, probably very good for wood but mediocre at best for cutting metal.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Don't like it, everything is fine

Broken on first use Suitable for power tools and hand tools

The diamond shape in the center of the saw blade cracked and unbalanced the entire blade rendering it unusable. This was the first cut of 1/2 inch plywood, nothing special I thought at least. Thank goodness I didn't try using it at 3/4" first and didn't get a setback when the blade in the saw ripped apart in my hands. It would be a disaster. But what do I expect when I buy cheap products buy get cheap results. Don't try to save $10. Just find $10 more and buy something high quality and safety.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing here

Be careful with quality control

Be careful with quality control on this saw. The "printed" side of the blade is on the wrong side, so the cutting edge is pointing the wrong way and the blade rotates backwards. I have about half a dozen saw blades, most of which are more expensive than this one, and they all have labels printed on them to show the direction of rotation of the blade and all the teeth are set and point in the same direction. On this blade, the direction of the teeth when the label appears on the saw is opposite…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • poorly thought out

THESE ARE THE BENEFITS for saw blades, parts and accessories

I make furniture for a living. 40 years. I use a lot of blades every day. I can't properly sharpen a $20 80 tooth carbide blade. This canvas is cheaper than the previous one. It cuts straight and the thin kerf provides more feed than a heavier blade, BUT. thin plate does not withstand heat. So when it gets dull, it's important to change it. It's razor sharp and cuts better than my machines tolerances. NO complaints in the first few cuts of 2 inch thick solid ash. I don't know the brand of…

Defective or not so sharp?

I think I have a broken blade. I have been working with saws for over 25 years. I have used and used non-ferrous metal blades, ferrous metal karma blades, plastic cutting blades and of course wood cutting blades. Many of the blades were fairly cheap like this one and lasted quite a while. The pair of blades I have are about 22 inches in diameter and cost a little over $500 each. So, if that says I'm a bit disappointed in this blade. So when it gets to the felt door it's nice, but triple-chip…
