Well made, good tool.

Thin tool, good quality, I sharpened the tip a bit to fit the hole in the mirror perfectly that fits in my gimbal. Long enough to reach the grease fitting. The sleeve fits over the mirror that your grease gun is attached to so it stays attached. Works great.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Not a machine gun

Makes life easier for workshop and shop

I got this for the hard to lubricate fittings on your drive shaft, I use it on my excavator in particular, it works great and it has a sliding collar which makes it just for you holds have a certain rigidity. The nipple is just a hair too big and slides easily into the spring loaded hole in the ball so I just rub it gently with one touch and then it slides right in there, okay

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Safety

Well made and should last a long time.

Holy smokes! The thing is built! Looks like a large electrical audio jack for a bass guitar or something. I just installed Alloy USA ball joints on a Jeep Wrangler TJ and the bottom ones have a recessed Zerk fitting: that's the answer to lube. It will work, just use a hose to hold it down so the pressure stays constant to make it work. Works great with the LockNLube grease gun coupler.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

suitable for garage & shop

Works well. IMHO the price is a bit high. I was also hoping for a tighter fit - it wobbles at the end of my grease gun, which is a bit annoying. but he is fixed with a mirror and nothing else. It has a sleeve that slides down and covers the end of the grease gun tube or hose you attach it to, which I think should give a little extra support/reduce wiggle, but it won't do you any good if your hose or tube is similar in size (the socket has a fairly large internal diameter)

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Has some imperfections

but I'm pretty nimble and when conditions aren't optimal

It works 'great' if you attach it to your grease gun and line it up exactly with the grease gun, but the problem is that when your gun lube If pumped at an angle to the Zerk, the lubricant will eventually seep around the Zerk and into the "sieve" at the top of the needle. Maybe it's user error, but I'm pretty skilled, and unless conditions are optimal, this tool isn't the best for the job. There must be a better way to lubricate the center balls on the driveshafts.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Older model
