The switch included in this package is the earlier model (PD-5ANS). If the higher amperage capacity (6A) of the newest switch is required, look elsewhere for the PD-6ANS. I have scanned the product description repeatedly, but have found no mention that the prior model switch was in the package. Fortunately for me (and probably most people), the difference was not a problem.

After just 50 days the switch had to be replaced. The Lutron phone app still showed the switch as being On. I am unable to delete the switch from the app until the next day.

This switch works great as a stand alone on/off switch or when paired with a "Pico Remote” or Lutron "Bridge”****Important if you purchased it "Used”!If this switch was previously set up by another user you will have to reset it to factory settings in-order to re-pair it to your system. Best to just google it, its sum what difficult for me to describe. I had an electrician install it. The wall box was cramped from a protruding conduit pipe but the electrician was able to install the Lutron Caseta Smart Home Switch as it wasn't too big. The switch was easy to set up and works with HomeKit. I now have two of these switches and use them to control outside lights. The timer switches that they replaced were 30 years old. This is a big improvement.

These work well with Alexa and it's nice to be able to quickly turn the lights on and off by voice. I've been replacing both my dimming and non-dimming Lutron Meastro switches with these. I've used both the 6a with a neutral and the 5a without neutrals on these standard non-dimmable switches and they both work well. I would give them five stars if they had the option for the back light when not on.

You do NOT get the two wall plates needed for the switches, you only get 1 wall plate PERIOD. 3 stars for that in itself. Like others have stated, you MUST have Neutral in wall to be used. Not all current wall switches are going to have the neutral wire.

I have order two switches, one at a time. First one was shipped fine from TX, second one was shipped at of Jacksonville FL and was not so fine. Switch was sent without the wallplate. Called Best Buy and was told I had to call Lutron myself to solve this problem. Adam at Lutron was very helpful and is sending me the wallplate. Love the product but the getting the scheduling right on the app is not intuitive. It took a lot of trial and error.and help from a friend to get it right. I hate the app but love the product.

This product is great. Only recommendation I would have is regarding the remote. Would be niceif it was two-color so one could identify the OFF and ON more easily
