🔅 Lutron Toggler Fan Control and Light Dimmer for Halogen & Incandescent Bulbs - AY2-LFSQ-WH, White: Efficient Controls for Fans and Lights Review

This multifunction switch works great with my ceiling fan which has five 9 watt 2700K dimmable LED bulbs. It controls both the fan and the lights while maintaining the traditional look of a light switch. The back of the switch is bulky, so the installation is a little difficult to fit the switch and wires into the old junction box.

The switch worked fine for about two weeks. After that, the dimming function no longer worked. Now the switch only works to turn the light on and off. And it got so hot I had to take it off for safety and now I have to find another type/brand to replace it as I don't have a light in the dining area above our table. Buying this Lutron switch was an expensive mistake. I would not buy it again and I would not recommend anyone to buy it.

If you're a bit of an electrician, the wiring is easy - power, then one wire for the fan, and another for the light. After everything was connected I used the default faceplate with no issues compared to what the default image showed. If you're the kind of person who constantly fiddles with settings, you'll find that the sliders are too small (as mentioned by others). My house was built in the 40's and it still has all the original old dark painted wood trim, lathes and plaster walls so it still has a 40's "feel" so I was inclined to keep its vintage look. which means using toggle switches and not rectangular sockets. This switch is hard to find. With it you can control the fan speed of the ceiling fan with the left switch and dim it with the right switch. The big switch in the middle is of course "on/off". There was a problem with this switch in my house. Every time we changed the fan speed, the noise returned to the circuit, turning off my TV and other devices in the circuit.
