Lykke Driftwood Crochet Hook 8Mm Review

I'm having trouble with some types of yarn when using traditional plastic or polymer crochet hooks 11.5mm. I bought this one made of wood and it's comfortable, smooth and doesn't slow down at all. It also heats up after a few minutes, which is a definite plus. In short, I love it!

Love this hook. It is very smooth and the yarn slides over it as you sew. Difficult was that there was no flat place to hold finger and my way of holding the needle kept flipping it over and over making yarn grabbing awkward and time consuming. I have LYKKE hooks which I love so I wanted to try crochet hooks.

It took a while. First, there is one spot on the head that kept getting caught on my yarn. The hook part of the hook kept getting caught in my yarn. I was very upset because I also discovered Lykke knitting needles and they are divine. Here's what I did: I took a nail board (the kind you file your nails with) and very lightly ran it over the edge of the hook a dozen times, very gently (1), then I did the same with the edge of the hook and voila! Eat no more! :) Now I LOVE THEM as much as I love
