🚪 Bronze U-Shaped Door Bottom with Drip Cap by M-D Building Products - 1-3/8" x 36" DB002 Review

The height of the item was too short and when attached to the door it did not reach the door frame to fill the gap. Gifted to a friend.

The ONLY issue with this item is the countersunk screws that come with it. It made no sense! This is a metal black item but it comes with oversized chrome screws (four x 5 holes total). In the past, these were small, color-coordinated screws. Otherwise, don't forget to trim it to fit the door and the outer doorstop.

This looks like a quality door brush but has not been weathered yet. At least it's made of durable metal. It was bent and had a slight "bump" in the curve, but a customer was waiting for me, so I straightened it out as best I could and attached it to the door. It's not perfect, but it's also down so I'm not sure they even noticed. If so, they said nothing.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this door bottom worked for my application. It is very durable and fits well. I have a 30 inch garage door so I had to trim it. My door opens inwards so I had to cut 3/8" off each end of the drip lip to keep it out of the jamb. The Dremel with cut-off wheel proved to be the right tool and ended up looking perfect.
