Easy to install Suitable for thresholds

Easy to install and snaps right into the door. We had to adjust the placement as soon as we first deployed it, and it got "wobbly" when we dragged it out to adjust it. Make sure it is perfectly aligned before installing. After installation, it seals the bottom of the door perfectly.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • So-so

Make sure it fits Hardware

This fits my door perfectly. Couldn't find this product in orange or blue home stores. I found other types of products there but none that had those two grooves on top to fit my door perfectly. I was able to cut it to length with a regular handsaw.

They are better quality than the Original Equipment baseboards

I had two doors with ripped ribs that did not provide good water or wind protection. They offered greater compatibility with the old ones. I have a few doors where the notches towards the end had to be trimmed down a bit to fit fully in the channels and they had no problem fitting there.

Perfect fit, easy installation

I'm glad I got to know the different types of interchangeable door bottoms. I had to lift the existing bottom of the door up a bit, but in doing so I could see that the current version has parts that pop up for top installation. After seeing this and measuring the door, it was an easy decision. The new version fits snugly into the grooves on the bottom of the door and no trimming was required!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • A few little things

Nice Cut Door Brush

Needed to replace the worn out brush on our patio door. It's thick and feels solid. Installation was easy after removing the old one. The old one had stapled ends, which I didn't think was necessary with the new one. The slit is thick and enters with a firm feel. I used a rubber mallet to install to make sure the notch was a good fit. Cutting is heavy, difficult to cut with a knife. I used metal scissors and was able to cut it the way I wanted. So far no problems with leaks or water ingress.

QUICK INSTALLATION: Sills

(This was my second purchase of this brand, used on another door a year and a half ago). Entrance door 32 inches. It's easy to saw off 4 inches and then snip off the ribs with scissors. One side inserts easily into the cut, the other inserts nicely with a little persuasion with a paint stirrer, tapping with a hammer. "I'm a 72 year old female and was able to easily replace a worn floor. Some say they managed without removing the door. I only suggest this if your door is a foot and a half off…

Pros
  • Sills
Cons
  • String shorter than other picks

My handyman installed this vinyl door brush on two of my metal doors, one is a storm door front door and the other is an interior door leading to the garage. Both steel doors had worn vinyl brushes and allowed outside air to flow through the bottom of the doors. Also, since these brushes have a more versatile fit, there were no identifying marks on the doors, which made my research a lot easier. Very noticeable in the winter months when winds blow in inclement weather. The handyman really had…
