Does exactly what we bought it for - holds a water bottle on my husbands bike. It folds up so you can use it with regular bottled water from the supermarket.

These are inexpensive bottle cages that generally work well and have a nice design. But upon closer inspection, you'll see that the finishes aren't quite up to par compared to the nicer, more expensive cages. But for the price I'm not complaining.

It's simple and does the job. If you're looking for a functional bottle holder, then you've come to the right place. Has never let me down! Addition: Holds a regular water bottle when you turn the bottle upside down (the lid is between the slides). I've been doing this for a month now while driving on the freeway and it hasn't fallen out.
