🚴 M-Wave Rotterdam Wheel Bag for 700c Bike Wheels Review

When I switched from hitch to roof mount I had to throw the front wheel in the back of the truck. Since most trips are dual use, this meant the tire was riding alongside camping gear, dog supplies, food, clothing, tents, etc. Something inevitably got stuck on the spoke and bent it. When you go to a race how do you expect to do your best with a bent spoke?!?! They don't expect Tiger to win the Masters without the support of blondes, or Lance to win the Tour without his magic juice.

I bought this a while ago after comparing it to other bags of a similar price. Most bags in this price range don't have padding, but this one has enough for easy use. It's a bit cumbersome with a single grip, but works great for both my road and 26" MTB wheels. Only one wheel fits in the bag at a time, but skewers and everything else just fits in the car). These wheeled bags are great value for money. They have thin padding (thinner than 1/4 inch but thicker than vinyl/tarp). It's not the very thick padding you can get with an expensive wheel bag, but for this price point, most wheel bags don't have a wheel per bag. There I can easily mount my Firecrest Tubular with an inflated tire. I don't have to take the skewer out either. The bag has a small storage pocket at the top where you could put a practice skewer. Great unicycle bag for the money; I transport my road bikes by removing the front wheel, putting the bike in a Velosock in the back seat of my car to protect the tan leather interior, and putting the front wheel in this bag.
