Description of High-Quality Machine Plated Phillips M2 5 Fasteners with 0.45 Threads

Steel is often used in applications where strength is the primary consideration. Zinc plating resists corrosion resistance and has a reflective appearance. Phillips drive has an x-shaped slot that accepts a Phillips driver and is designed to prevent over-tightening. Pan head has a flat top and short vertical sides with a rounded top edge.

IBM Bolt Mod Model M

If you are looking to modify the Model M Bolt (you know who you are) this is the correct size following various guides online. Of course, you need the right nuts for this. And as always, with any modification you risk damaging the keyboard. I have modified three M models myself with no problems with the screws.

Pros
  • Screws
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Perfect fit for Marshall Amplifier Chassis

I bought these to replace broken, worn or missing Marshall amplifier chassis screws. It's the same size screw they've been using since the 1960's. They are cheap and work great in this app. Models I've used them on: Pre 1975 4" Plexi & Metal Plate Models, JMP Main Volume, JCM-800, JCM-900, TSL, DSL.

Pros
  • Mounting Screws
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time

Quality screws at a great price

I needed M3-0.5 metric Phillips pan head screws to replace damaged motorcycle carburetor screws. The motorcycle parts store wanted $5.95 for four bolts. I ordered a pack of 100 from Revain for $7.93, a great value. I specifically ordered the screws longer than necessary (e.g. 20mm) so that the extra screws would be more versatile for many future projects. I trimmed them and regenerated the cut ends to keep them from rusting. Very happy with the purchase. BENEFITS - Good fit and coverage…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Slightly dented
