Excellent Automotive Solution

My analysis of this product showed that it is an excellent solution for those looking to upgrade their automotive exhaust system. The build quality is top-notch and the improved performance is noticeable. The installation was straightforward and easy, making it a great choice for DIYers. The only downside I found was the price, but it's worth it for the long-term benefits. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Eco-friendly and complies with federal emissions standards.
Cons
  • Expensive compared to non-compliant alternatives.

The catalytic converter is a waste of time and money.

. The original catalytic converter in my VW Passat lasted 15 years with no problems. This is exactly one week old and is already generating code P0420. The efficiency of the catalytic system is below the threshold (bank 1). As previously mentioned, the actual product received has nothing to do with the image shown. My suggestion: save your time and money and don't worry.

Pros
  • STRAIGHT FIT. The configuration of this direct-fit catalytic converter allows it to be used as a bolt-on replacement and offers a hassle-free installation with key parts included. MagnaFlow uses state-of-the-art 3D scanning technology in research and development to ensure this new transducer performs exactly like the original device. This MagnaFlow part is vehicle specific, confirm fitment details above in Confirmed Fit
Cons
  • . Reliability

Ideal for VW: Replacement Parts

Installed on Passat ATW 2000 1.8t. The Cat converter's engine code disappeared and it was able to pass the test. My car has 235,000. If you're thinking of doing it yourself, get all the hardware, no gaskets are provided. You need one for each ending. And new bolts because you'll end up shearing off the bolts. I let my mechanic sort it out and made the right decision. The job cost me about $200. The car feels faster because the old car was full.

Pros
  • STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION - MagnaFlow's use of highly corrosion resistant stainless steel construction, flexible mandrel tubing and advanced CNC precision robotic manufacturing techniques ensure a consistently perfect fit, reliability and superior durability.
Cons
  • Appearance
