I was going to use it for tools but it barely holds a hammer for the frame, it will work for screwdrivers and small wrenches (very disappointed).

They work great, but you can get identical ones (without the ugly logo) for half price at a certain store that sells Chinese tools at a discount.

I had to sand the edges of the metal where the magnet was inserted and attach it to the wall. The metal didn't really stick well to the tools I was trying to attach to the wall.

As a mechanic I have used many magnet bars throughout my life to attach tools like crowbars to my box. They are of good quality but lack sufficient holding power. Probably good for screwdrivers and the like, but nothing more.

The first problem was that they come with a nasty sticker right on the front that will NOT peel. Leaves a sticky paper base if you try. Work 30 minutes at a time. Second, the magnet isn't strong enough to hold anything. These end up in the trash.
