Not so magnetic best in seasonal lighting

Tried using them with icicles. It took about 10 attempts to get her to stay on the roof. I'm not sure if they will stay with the first snowstorm. No super strong magnets.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • boring packaging

I have to disagree with the power of the magnet - I'm very impressed!

Not sure if others try to attach them to inferior or thicker painted steel, but they stick really well to my steel roof! I've tested my fridge, tool box, and roof and each seem to be able to hold about 5 pounds upright. I have a string of 25 high quality C9 bulbs and two of them were able to hold the whole string while it hung.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Has flaws

Not very magnetic for seasonal decoration

I tried using them with icicle lights. It took about 10 attempts to get her to stay on the roof. I'm not sure if they will stay with the first snowstorm. No super strong magnets.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • There are bugs

What a waste of time and money

Yes so I was quite impressed until 4 strands came into the 24x40 canopy, I hit the loose end (maybe 3 bulbs left popping out) and all 4 strands fell off. They're not that easy to lift into the light, and apparently they're not strong enough to hold them. That was straight to cleaning the center purlin, the canopy could be a week old, no rust, no excessive paint, just red metal.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Safety

  • Not just useful for it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

magnets were not strong enough to keep light on roof

I have used this product on metal roofs on my cabin and gazebo. The magnets weren't as strong as I thought, because the whole garland slipped off at the slightest jerk. We had snow and when the snow melted from the roofs it took the headlights with it. tried turning them back on and noticed they were already rusting after only 2 weeks and just thought it would be a constant struggle to keep them. Roof. Very disappointed with this product.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Style 90
