I thought it was a bit weak. No, that is not so. It's pretty intense. You have to unscrew the back to insert the batteries. When I put the batteries in for the first time, it didn't work at all. I had to remove the back panel a second time and make sure the batteries were securely in place. Then it worked. It's not very intuitive. There are two buttons.
